about

A Japanese story, part Vedanta, diamond sutra and just a touch Indra's web.

lyrics

I look at my face in the mirror & wonder who i am?.
It looks back at me, your a mirror man.
So see yourself young, see yourself old, see yourself fade away.
Here today gone tomorrow, thats what the mirror seems to say.
For, mirror is mind, and mind makes the world.
And the clearer you keep that mirror,
there ain't no one there at all!

Saw the moons reflection in water on a summers night,
so i carried it home in a bucket on my shoulder,
it was a beautiful sight.
But then the bucket broke & the moon it just washed away.
You can't hold on to moonlight, thats what the mirror seems to say.
For the mirror is mind and mind makes the world,
and the clearer you keep that mirror,
there ain't no one there at all, looking in the mirror.

If this word is a diamond so many pieces there to see,
in each face another mirror, and they all shine back at me.
I see myself in your face, do you see yourself in mine?
Just where i end and you begin, it's a fine, fine line.
