This songs about an attitude of gratitude, this songs about loving and soul food. That attitude of gratitude brings me right round, with my head in the clouds keeps my feet on the ground. In an attitude of gratitude to give and receive, no matter who you are, or what you believe in. I'm a happy man, i'm a healthy man, i'm a wealthy man yeah. I'm a loving man, i'm a feeling man, i'm a giving man yeah. That attitude of gratitude is such a simple thing. there's nothing to loose here, it's a win, win, win. with that attitude of gratitude you gotta choose, ain't no one gonna carry you or walk in yr shoes, no, no. That attitude of gratitude is the fundamental groove, tunes you too the wavelength keeps you in the mood. That attitude of gratitude is the longitude & latitude, of love. That attitude ain't no platitude, cranks up the magnitude, keeps you dancing with the angels above. I'm a lucky man doing what i can, i'm a peaceful man yeah, i'm a holy man rolly polly man, i'm a whole-y man yeah. This songs about an attitude of gratitude, this song about loving and soul food, soul food.

Mirror Man 03:58
I look at my face in the mirror & wonder who i am?. It looks back at me, your a mirror man. So see yourself young, see yourself old, see yourself fade away. Here today gone tomorrow, thats what the mirror seems to say. For, mirror is mind, and mind makes the world. And the clearer you keep that mirror, there ain't no one there at all! Saw the moons reflection in water on a summers night, so i carried it home in a bucket on my shoulder, it was a beautiful sight. But then the bucket broke & the moon it just washed away. You can't hold on to moonlight, thats what the mirror seems to say. For the mirror is mind and mind makes the world, and the clearer you keep that mirror, there ain't no one there at all, looking in the mirror. If this word is a diamond so many pieces there to see, in each face another mirror, and they all shine back at me. I see myself in your face, do you see yourself in mine? Just where i end and you begin, it's a fine, fine line.

Spirit 13:34
My name is like the wind, i have walked the trackless wood. From the rocky crest on high, to where the meddow tastes so good. Who will lead the people home, through the darkness of this empty night we face, who will lead the people home?. No man can buy the earth, n'ore is it ours to sell. Each creature sings it's song, we have learned to listen well. But if the living waters die, were gonna feel the pain, great loneliness of heart, if the living waters die. My fathers walked this land, keep it sacred as it is. Down to our children's hands, the memories that we give. The deer and eagle gone, perhaps i'm a savage, but i don't understand. The deer and eagle gone. Feather, fur, skin, scale, rock, bark, blood, sap, bone. All that is seen, and unseen. Above below, betwixt, between. The centre of all centres. The breath of all breaths, the beating heart in all that beats, awake or asleep. Ancient grandmothers, grandfathers, children of the future, in all space, time. Turning reason back to rhyme. And as your cities grow, how will you listen then? To the sound of the pine trees blow, and the stories that they tell. When these precious things are gone, the end of living it's survival now i find. When these precious things are gone, all gone.

I'm claiming back the mystical, at the centre of my life. When all the world around me, can't keep me hypnotised. proclaiming a mystery, aligned with higher mind. Cos i'm sick of mediocrity, and see right through the lies. Reclaiming the love, of a thousand suns. And know in my bones, we are one!. Claiming a miracle, and won't apologise. For shouting from the rooftops, i'm on fire. Returning to love, like a prodigal child. I'm on my way home, i just stopped here for a while. Om shri mata devi, gaia ma, gaia ma. Om shri mata devi, gaia ma. I'm claiming back the mystical, at the centre of my life, When all the world around me, can't keep me hypnotised. Returning to love like a prodigal child, i'm on my way home, i just stopped here for a while, returning to love, a love divine. And on my way home, i just stopped here for a while, stopped here for a while.

Baby Boomer 02:38
Boom boom, hey there baby, hey there bay-bee-boomer. Boom boom. They say, we're the last of the old, first of the new, i knew it all along, i was born to break on through. So hey there baby, baby boomer, maybe bloomer. We may well be, we may well be, late bloomers. Gotta keep a sense of humour. Cos it ain't all doom & gloom-ah. getting older, old as gold, rock and roll, so boom boom. We are the ones, the lost and the profound. So gather round, gather round. Earth wizards wakey, wakey. It's time to shake the rainbow snakey. Star seeders, myth weavers, lovers of the mystery, shivakti, Roll up for the event at the end of, well is it his-story or her-story?. So let's heal, let's heal. And keep it real.

I was around when the world woke up, just about the midnight hour. Did the boogaloo went to Uluru, read the secret of the golden flower. Yet still it seemed i was stuck in a dream, a dream of polarity, in which i was me and you were you, it was a mystery. To be tightrope walking along a long timeline, tightrope walking, and it's all in your mind. Went on a spin around the old tzolkin, to re-align with the central sun. Began to walk the walk, talk the talk, and remember that we all are one. So gate gate paragate, parasamgate, open up the starry star gate, If we are the ones we've been waiting for, then i sure hope were a'int late. To be, tightrope walking along a long timeline, tightrope walking and it's all in your mind. And that natural magic happens every day, that natural magic happens every way. One thing i got from the school of hard knocks, is not to take it too seriously. Cos if i point my finger at you, there's three pointing back at me. So you judge, me judge, everybody nudge, nudge, justice is just us. Don't be no stooge, move with the groove, come on get on the bus & come. Tightrope walking along along timeline, tight rope walking & it's all in your mind. It seems for sure though i'm knocking at the door, i a'int no holy dude. I'm the worse for wear, little threadbare, and i'm looking thru a hole in my shoe. But i will stand till the end of NOW, for love and unity. Let go of fear, be right here, and the truth shall set us free, to be. Tightrope walking along a long timeline, tight rope walking and it's all in your mind. Tightrope walking along a long timeline, tightrope walking yeah. That natural magic happens every day, that natural magic happens every way, that natural magic happens every day, that natural magick happens, oh yeah.

I am Stone 12:20
I am stone, old cold, ground beneath your feet. I am silver, i am gold, earth that sleeps. I am crystal memory, and the opal fire. Set in earth dark and deep, i am the light of a star. And i will shine my light on you, shine my light on you.

Photographs 03:28
I don't keep photographs, ghosts from the past that hold tears and laughs. I don't save money for days that it's raining. Cast my thoughts on a fishing line, pebble in a pond that sends ripples wide. And the geese fly by, but that's my mind moving. Don't believe in black and white, i'm not this hate, and not this fight, that's just a game that we're playing. Not these masks in the cosmic spin, i never end and don't begin, the snake eats it's tail and just keeps on growing. You can't hold on to a world thats changing, nothing lasts for long so let the moments go. I don't keep a diary, write my words on the sky and sea, on the river thats flowing. Illusion she calls the tune, even if you tried, you couldn't steal the moon. So there a'int no use trying. I don't keep photographs, ghosts from the past that hold tears and laughs. Don't save money for days that its raining. Cast my thoughts on a fishing line, pebble in a pond that sends ripples wide, and the geese fly by, but thats my mind leaving. You can't hold on to a world that's changing. Nothing lasts for long, so let the moments go. bye, bye.

about

With one foot in 2012 and the other in 2013 we walk the tightrope betwixt & between worlds.
This is an eclectic collection of songs and reflections.
It was recorded in the green hills of Maleny with
Andy Copeman who imbued it with his muse.

This album features Mitsuo Hanafusa on acoustic guitar,
and the mellifluous Mayinda Mayi, manifest before your ears.

Most of these songs were written during a retreat in Bellingen, and were received whilst watching the river flow & the forest grow.
